01What is the tier system?+
Every prop we publish is classified STRICT, STANDARD, LOOSE, or DQ. Tiers reflect how confident the rubric is that the player clears their line, given role, time-on-ground, recent form, opponent context, and team-list certainty. STRICT picks are the highest-conviction set; LOOSE picks are flagged for transparency but not recommended. We publish settled hit rates per tier, every round.
02How do you calculate the hit rate?+
Each round we capture an opening snapshot (Tuesday/Wednesday) and a closing snapshot (T-85 minutes per match). After the games settle, we scrape official AFL Tables stats and mark each snapshot hit or miss. Hit rate = hits / total snapshots, per tier, per market, per season. No re-classification after the fact.
03What data sources do you use?+
Player and team stats come from AFL Tables (afltables.com) and the official AFL.com.au feed. Odds are captured from TAB and additional Australian books. Tagger history is hand-coded from match footage and reviewed weekly. We do not ingest tipster signals or paywalled feeds.
04Am I betting through Statline?+
No. Statline is an analytics tool. We publish research, snapshots, and hit rates. We do not accept stakes, hold funds, hand out tips by DM, or take a cut of anything you place elsewhere. The product is upstream of the bookies, not a bookie alternative.
05Do you offer a free tier?+
Yes. Free accounts get the public hit rate dashboards, every player page, and every team page. Tier picks for the current round, the live tracker, late-change alerts, and the slip builder are on Pro ($79/mo AUD).
